"I wanted to thank all of you for the drumming at the marathon yesterday. I should have joined you for the earlier race start times, I ran the half marathon and started at 7:30. I could feel the pulse go thru me as I passed everyone and sent a special thank you in my heart. When I turned the corner toward the finish and heard the drums again, my heart, if not my feet, soared. What an energy you gave as a gift to everyone. Thank you so much for making the race special. Although I haven't joined you but once I still feel like a sister of the drum."

Then coming back over the hill near mile 12, we could start to hear the drums again. It was like you were leading us to the finish and letting us know that we were almost home.
